Therapies with Lisa Fursman

I have worked with a wide range of clients, supporting them through anxiety, low mood, anger, relationship challenges, life transitions, and general emotional overwhelm. Alongside my client work, I provide clinical supervision for counsellors and trainee practitioners, helping them develop reflective practice, ethical awareness, and professional resilience. Advanced Counselling NCFE Level 4 Practitioner‑Level Life & Performance Coaching (Auspicium) Diploma in Counselling Skills (Oplex Careers) ACCPH Fellow Member Additional training across CBT, marriage guidance, and integrated therapeutic approaches These qualifications allow me to offer a flexible, blended style of support that adapts to each client’s needs. My approach is relational, steady, and down‑to‑earth. I integrate counselling and coaching so clients can explore what’s happening internally while also learning practical strategies to move forward. Sessions often include emotional awareness, grounding techniques, cognitive tools, and reflective conversation. For supervision clients, I offer a collaborative space where we explore cases, ethical considerations, and the practitioner’s own development. What Clients Can Expect Clients can expect a warm, non‑judgemental environment where they can talk openly, feel heard, and work at a pace that feels safe. Together, we explore thoughts, feelings, and patterns, build emotional regulation skills, and work toward clarity and confidence. My aim is to help clients feel more grounded, more empowered, and more connected to themselves.
