Hi, I'm Viktorija, an English-speaking Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist (Hypno-CBT) based in Bristol, UK. Originally from Lithuania, I've spent the last decade navigating many of life's transitions: moving abroad, experiencing different kinds of grief, changing careers, building and ending relationships, and continuing to study and grow. Haven't we all? Along the way, I became deeply curious about how our early life experiences influence the careers we choose, and what happens to our friendships, sense of belonging, and identity when we build a life in another country. Alongside my therapy practice, I work as a job coach supporting neurodivergent young people aged 18–25 to find and sustain meaningful paid employment. This work continually reminds me how much our beliefs, confidence, and past experiences shape the way we move through the world. It is. also, worth mentioning that I will restart my studies in psychotherapeutic counselling in October. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy, and I am also the founder of [Betterthings.space](http://Betterthings.space). Despite the name, Betterthings.space isn't about fixing people or suggesting that anyone is broken. It's about holding onto hope when life doesn't unfold the way you imagined. It's about asking: when life takes an unexpected turn, can we still create something meaningful? Can we still find moments worth living for, connections worth nurturing, and a future that feels like our own? I believe therapy isn't about becoming someone different. It's about understanding yourself more deeply, developing practical tools for change, and creating space for a life that feels more aligned with who you are.
